Position Responsibilities:
In this position, you'll be responsible for assisting the Revenue Cycle Manager in planning, directing and supervising the business office, coding and precertification departments to ensure timeliness and accuracy in the completion of related functions. You'll act as a liaison between the precertification department and other departments for timely completion of all surgical authorizations, oversee communications with physicians regarding their coding processes, and continuously review departmental processes in order to implement changes as needed in the ever-changing healthcare environment. Additionally, you'll need to stay current on coding changes and regulations, analyze monthly reports regarding practice operations and future goals, and provide leadership and support for complex business office issues as they arise. ORA holds all of our staff members accountable for providing high level care, maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. As a member of our Business Office, you'll be a part of a robust and talented team who work hard to keep our practice running smoothly.
Requirements:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. We would prefer a degree or certificate in Health or Business Administration, as well as previous medical office management experience, but it is not required. This candidate must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, a proven ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization, and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and accurately. A successful candidate will have strong knowledge of personal computer applications and Electronic Medical Record.

Individual pay will depend on a wide range of factors such as candidate skills, experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and alignment with company benchmarks.
