Job Description:

ORBA is seeking summer interns who would be involved with all aspects of our firm, including audits and reviews of financial statements, income tax preparation, accounting services, Cloud CFO Services and ORBA Wealth Advisors. Training includes classroom-type instruction and on-the-job training with close supervision and constant feedback. The individual will work closely with partners and staff and will have direct contact with clients from various industries.

Major duties and responsibilities include:

• Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures in accordance with firm and professional standards and as directed by engagement leaders;
• Communicate with engagement leaders regarding open items, testing problems, or other important matters in a timely manner;
• Assist with preparation of (or review client-prepared) financial statements and footnotes, management reports, and other engagement outputs; and
• Develop technical competency with GAAP, GAAS and SSARS, especially related to assigned service line.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Current graduate student or undergraduate student;
• Course work in Accounting and a general business background (course work in Taxes is preferred, but not required);
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Detail-oriented mindset;
• Outstanding analytical ability and judgment; and
• Confident, outgoing personality with stellar interpersonal skills.
