What are the responsibilities and job description for the ITSM Developer position at Oregon State Credit Union?

Guided by our vision to create financial solutions that make lives better, we are seeking an ITSM Developer to advance the maturity and efficiency of our Information Services (IS) Operations.

The ITSM Developer will design, develop, and optimize our IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, implement strategic integrations, and enhance our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in alignment with ITIL 4 best practices. This role is critical to improving operational efficiency, enabling automation, and supporting organizational innovation goals.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

  • ITSM Platform Expertise: Proven experience developing and customizing ITSM platforms (preferably SolarWinds Service Desk). Ability to design advanced workflows, automation rules, SLA monitoring, and build dashboards for operational visibility.
  • Integration & Automation Skills: Hands-on experience architecting integrations between ITSM and enterprise systems such as HCM, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Power Platform. Skilled in automating service catalog updates, onboarding/offboarding workflows, and knowledge base publishing.
  • CMDB Engineering: Strong understanding of CMDB design and IT asset lifecycle management. Ability to implement governance, audit mechanisms, and integrate CMDB with incident, change, and problem management modules.
  • ITIL 4 Knowledge & Continuous Improvement: Deep familiarity with ITIL 4 principles and their practical application. Commitment to staying current with emerging ITSM technologies and leveraging AI-driven enhancements for predictive incident management and workflow optimization.
  • Communication & Problem-Solving: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. Strong analytical and independent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience & Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business management of information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience. Proven experience in ITSM development and integration projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and HCM system integrations.

Compensation: $110,762k /year DOE bonus
