Overview

As the Vice President of Sales you will be responsible for driving sales strategy and ensuring the ongoing generation and production of new business through successful management and coaching of a high performing sales teams. Reporting to the President of the Risk Division, this role requires very strong leadership by garnering trust within the sales team, and with peers throughout the company. You will bring your deep experience in building and delivering sales strategy, sales operations, and hiring and onboarding top sales talent.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the divisional sales and growth success, by ensuring sales representatives achieve quarterly and annual sales and business development targets and the division reaches or exceeds sales goals• Develop and execute global outbound sales strategies with a focus on US and company defined EMEA markets• Build strong rapport with cross-functional stakeholders to drive sales strategy and operational excellence• Manage consistent pipeline progress and sales tactics/strategy of each team member• Provide coaching and oversight of all sales staff to ensure productivity and quality using Origami’s sales process• Enforce the company’s policies and procedures, including use of CRM, documentation, interaction with other departments such as Legal, Finance and Professional Services• Collaborate with Sales Operations and Marketing to ensure that Origami’s entire marketing, lead generation and sales process are consistently aligned.• Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the Sales Teams and manage the sales program and individuals accordingly• Implement a strategy for developing and maintaining a strong, consistent pipeline of prospective customers • Confirm or estimate potential strong competitors on each opportunity and devise a strategy to successfully compare and contrast Origami to each of them.• Assist in the continual management of hiring pipeline of Sales representatives, including conducting interviews, assessments and providing feedback on potential hires• Be accountable for strategic and tactical initiatives throughout the year as directed by the Divisional President

Qualifications

• 10 years of technology sales leadership experience• 5 years of direct and/or indirect experience leading sales development functions including but not limited to Account Management and Inside Sales• Bachelor’s degree required• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes• Familiarity with and a history of execution of a highly consultative sales process, such as the Sandler Sales Process• Risk management technology background a plus• Excellent coaching skills: ability to observe, evaluate and give meaningful feedback • Familiarity with a CRM, preferably Salesforce• Strong analytical & problem solving skills• Strong verbal and written communication skills
