In considering our next group of Residents, we are looking for candidates who are interested in working with children, families, or couples in addition to traditional counseling for individuals with emotional, behavioral, and mental health struggles.

You must hold a temporary LMFTA license and have applied to take your AMFTRB licensing board exam to obtain a regular LMFTA license. We will consider students getting ready to graduate from their Master's Degree Program within the next month for this position with a start date upon graduation and attainment of a temporary LMFTA. The ideal candidate will have a focus area in working with either children and families or with couples. We are hiring for both skill sets. $47,000 yearly

• Perform intake and needs assessments for individuals, significant others, and family members through testing, interviews, observations, and conversation sessions
• Document patient records accurately and thoroughly in accordance with facility and licensing standards
• Provide mental health services to families, couples, individuals, and children utilizing solution-focused therapy strategies for improving relationships
• Plan, carry out, and assess therapeutic treatment programs for each patient individually
• Collaborate with community organizations and attend weekly clinical team meetings

• Current temp state license as LMFTA (licensed marriage and family therapist)
• Master's Degree in a Counseling Related Field (Marriage and Family Therapy or Clinical Mental Health Counseling) from an accredited institution
