Communications Specialist

Description

IntraHealth Group is seeking a talented and experienced Communications Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in shaping our brand and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Internal Communications: 

• Develop and execute internal communication strategies.
• Create engaging content to inform and motivate employees.
• Conduct training on communication best practices and social media.
• Advise leadership on internal and external communication matters.
• Frequent collaboration with colleagues

External Communications:

• Manage media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, and interviews.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry leaders.
• Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for brand visibility.
• Develop and implement crisis communication plans.

Content Creation:

• Create high-quality content, including articles, blog posts, and social media content.
• Manage and maintain the company website and other digital platforms.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote OrthoAtlanta's services.

Event Planning:

• Plan and execute internal and external events, such as conferences, seminars, and workshops.
• Manage event logistics, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with social media platforms and content management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
