What are the responsibilities and job description for the X-Ray Technologist position at OSMC?
This position is working as a PRN with high flexibility and availability on short notice call offs. Duties include preparing patients for radiology procedures. Taking x-rays following established physician protocols and procedures for patient care and safety. Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials. Ensures equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor. Logs radiology procedures completed. Processes related paperwork using computer equipment as directed. Maintains examination and stock rooms. Stocks necessary medical and radiology supplies. Assist facility manager with clinic inventory and supply ordering. Performs quality controls and assists in maintaining the lab equipment. Travel to other offices is required.
