OuterBox Solutions is looking for a full-time SEO Content Writer with a beautiful, curious brain. 

Core Job Responsibilities

• Research as needed before you write to give your content real substance and value
• Write useful, compelling, search-optimized web copy (website pages, blogs, and other articles) to support specific strategies and topics
• Write optimized metadata 
• Follow provided guidelines to make sure content is optimized for both Google and, you know, real people
• Carefully edit, refine and proofread your own work — and check that it follows OuterBox standards
• Communicate and collaborate proactively with other team members to make sure content is cohesive, on-strategy and on-time
• Work within reasonable time constraints and meet deadlines
• Apply some basic HTML styling 
• Other reasonable tasks as needed

• Developing content strategies and plans
• Performing content audits and recommending optimizations
• Conducting SEO keyword research
• Performing technical SEO tasks

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional writing experience preferred, ideally in marketing or journalism
• 1 years of SEO Copywriting, including keyword-focused content optimization and writing of metadata
• Writing samples that show insight, strategy, and attention to detail
• Efficiency using Google Drive, Docs and Sheets as well as Microsoft Office
• Ability to follow directions exactly and learn new applications as needed
• Ability to write clearly, concisely and without the fluff
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive personality and eagerness to learn
• The resourcefulness to find information and use it in a new way
• Impressive critical thinking skills
• High personal standards and reliability (Read: You do what it takes to get the work done well, without having to be asked.)
• Strong professional references
