We are looking for a qualified PdM Technician to join the Maintenance team.
The PdM Technician position is a self-driven/self-motivated individual capable of working proficiently, both independently and as part of a team. The successful individual must have a passion for safety and be able to foster effective working relationships built upon trust and respect within all levels of the organization. The PdM Technician is responsible for maintaining, developing and creating dependable equipment throughout our facility with a variety of predictive and proactive measures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize predictive maintenance technologies and technology to actively identify abnormalities throughout the plant and generate corrective reports.
- Collect and analyze data on all types of process equipment using predictive maintenance technologies; including but not limited to vibration analysis, oil analysis, Infra-Red and Ultrasonic, which also includes creating and maintaining databases for each technology
- Persons must be capable of technically analyzing and identifying mechanical and electrical opportunities of improvement.
- Provide input, which improves and development maintenance work Instructions and preventative/predictive maintenance standards.
- Effectively complete PdM routes, assist in diagnostics, repairs, as needed.
- Proficient in use of SAP system to track maintenance action items.
- Maintains and ensures documentation, both written and electronic, is accurate, complete and factual as required by policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Documents activities supporting maintenance best practices to ensure that continuous improvement activities have adequate and reliable data for analysis.
Required Skills:
- Certification in thermography, vibration, ultrasound, precision alignment or any other predictive technologies preferred
- Previous training and experience with application of predictive maintenance technologies and associated software and hardware preferred
- 2 yr. technical degree / applicable military training preferred, or 5 years manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Industrial experience
- Proven safety record required
- Excellent attendance record required
- Demonstrate ability to perform the essential functions of the job required
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Aptitude for problem solving
