Scheduled shifts for this position are Mondays and Thursdays from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM, though hours may vary depending on business activity and operational demand.
As an Aircraft Fueling Technician, you'll provide safe, first-class service while representing Overland Aviation and our community. Responsibilities include aircraft fueling, towing, and ground handling of a wide range of general aviation aircraft, as well as Sun Country Airlines.

Position Title: Aircraft Fueling Technician
Status: Part-Time
Salary: $20 per hour, depending on experience
Position Reports to: Line Service Supervisor
Department/Location: Line Service Department/Williston, North Dakota
About Overland Aviation:
Founded in 2011, Overland Aviation is a locally-owned and operated Fixed Base Operator at Williston Basin International Airport, KXWA. With a commitment to safety and service, our team of industry professionals provides ground handling, aircraft refueling, aircraft maintenance, flight instruction, aerial tours, aerial patrol, pilot services, and air charters.
Essential Job Functions:
· Comply with all safety policies and procedures, business practices, company policies, and all other applicable local, city, state, and federal regulations. Adherence to Safety and Company Policies is the most important function of this position.
· Safely, accurately and efficiently refuel general aviation and commercial airline aircraft.
· Accurately track fuel transactions utilizing company procedures and documents.
· Assist aircraft pilots by marshalling arriving and departing aircraft in and out utilizing hand signals.
· Perform lavatory, baggage handling, deicing, and other ground handling services to a wide variety of general aviation aircraft, as well as Sun Country Airlines.
· Move customer’s aircraft on the aircraft ramp and in the storage hangar utilizing aircraft tugs.
· Assist customers with their luggage to and from their aircraft and/or vehicle.
· Perform daily fuel/delivery system quality assurance checks.
· Effectively communicate customer service requests with the Customer Service Department.
· Perform janitorial duties to ensure our office facility and hangar is clean and organized.
· Perform lawn care and snow removal duties.
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements:
· High School diploma or GED preferred
· Strong customer service skills required with the ability to effectively communicate
· Strong work ethic required
· Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
· Ability to work outside in extreme temperatures for long hours
· Ability to work Mondays and Thursdays from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM, as well as the possibility to cover shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call
· Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving history
· Pre-employment drug test, random drug screenings, and TSA background check
· Exceptional organizational and interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work on weekends and weeknights
Physical Demands:
· Regular lifting of 75lbs
· Frequent standing, bending, lifting, kneeling, and walking
· Ability to work outside in extreme temperatures for long hours
