Summary: Answer inquiries and provide information to the general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties regarding activities conducted at the Association and location of departments, offices, and employees.

Essential Job Functions
- Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments.
- Perform administrative support tasks, such as proofreading, transcribing handwritten information, or operating calculators or computers.
- Greet persons entering the lobby, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations. Keep a log of all visitors.
- File and maintain records.
- Open and log deposits made in the night deposit box under dual control.
- Open and log any deposits or payments received by mail under dual control.
- Collect signatures from customers on loan documents needed by the loan officers.
- Prepare loan packets for loan officers to distribute to potential loan customers.
- Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
- Provide information about the Association, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
- Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries.
- Maintain and edit schedule for all meeting rooms.
- Assist new accounts department by verifying information entered into the core processing system for new customers is correct.
- Keep stock and inventory for toner and other supplies needed for copiers and postage meter.
- Process and prepare memos, correspondence, or other documents.
- Order flowers for employees upon request.
- Other clerical duties or special projects upon request.
Education:
Associate's Degree (or other 2-year degree)
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Some College Courses
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.
- Ability to learn and use scanning and telephone software.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be proactive and resourceful when issues arise.
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Confidence in dealing with people.
