They will make sure to use customer service skills and display professionalism to treat our patients with the utmost quality of care.
Job Function And Duties
- Greet patients promptly and courteously
- Perform duties under the supervision and direction of the physician
- Provide patient instruction as directed by the physician
- Triage patients as needed
- Complete patient paperwork and enter information into the EMR at the time of encounter
- Update medical records
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, clean and stock exam rooms
- Create/Transfer orders
- HIPAA and OSHA knowledge and Compliance preferred (will train if not knowledgeable)
- Medical office experience preferred but not required
- Must be professional and courteous
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work with a team or independently
- Computer Skills a must, experience with ModMed EHR a plus but not required
- Must be willing to get your GXMO license to take X-rays (we will help you to obtain license)
- Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time.
- May be required to bend, reach and lift up to 20 pounds as needed throughout the day.
- Schedule and Related Information:
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday no Weekends
- Travel to other locations may be occasionally necessary
