Registered Dietitian
Position Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide nutritional care which will result in the optimal health and nutritional status of the residents.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Must meet all license, certification, training or credentials as required by the State.
- Must have knowledge of or be willing to learn the requirements of Federal and State Regulations related to the Dietary Department.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be able to manage menus within budget
- Must have the ability to plan, organize, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Dietary Department.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the nutritional care of residents and document in the medical record
- Using the company formulary recommends dietary interventions according to the status of the resident
- Evaluate changes to the facility’s menus for nutritional adequacy.
- Manage the menus within the facility budget
- Provides monthly reviews and documentation for residents with weight loss, receiving enteral nutrition, wound care, and others at high risk.
- Assists the Dietary manager in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for dietary and nursing personnel

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
