What we’re looking for
Forklift Operator| Siloam Springs AR
The Forklift Operator is responsible for locating and moving materials utilizing heavy machinery throughout the facility, ensuring products are where they need to be when they need to be there. This role will also identify damages and report shortages of products, ensuring operational best practices are followed while maintaining a safety-first mindset.
Responsibilities
Operate a forklift continuously throughout the workday, moving and storing products to specific locations.
Pick, verify, and load products accurately on and off trailers, as well as to and from designated areas of the facility.
Identify and understand types and grades of pallets.
Stack loads in correct storage or staging areas, following inventory-control procedures.
Complete and retain corresponding shipment and warehouse documentation, reporting any discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor(s).
Partner with the Supervisor and Maintenance team to inspect and maintain forklift integrity, performing routine safety inspections.
Deliver on or exceed the daily production output requirements.
Maintain a clean workspace, reducing accidents, and ensuring compliance.
Escalate technical and process issues to leadership.
Foster exceptional and collaborative partnerships with facility staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience, Skills & Education
Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of safety measures around forklift operation.
Relevant forklift certifications a plus.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Any combination of education and experience will be considered.
Physical & Environment
Prolonged periods of sitting to operate heavy machinery, standing, and walking throughout the facility.
Lifting, pushing, and pulling 50 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the workday.
Most duties are performed in a non-climate-controlled environment. May occasionally perform tasks that are off-site which require varying forms of travel. Hazards require the use of personal protective equipment while in facility production areas.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
