This role is located at Palermo's plant in Jefferson, WI.
When you’ll work…
We are currently hiring an experienced Kitchen Lead to join our 3rd shift team.
What you’ll do…
Support our production teams by promoting people and food safety while encouraging teamwork to meet and exceed production goals.
Monitor kitchen to ensure recipes for sauce and vegetable mixes for daily schedule are followed and there is proper material usage.
Direct, audit, train, and assist employees in the kitchen and troubleshoot and problem solve.
Demonstrate working knowledge of kitchen mixing equipment to determine when to escalate mechanical concerns to leadership.

Proven ability to operate safely by following all food and people guidelines.
Utilizing knowledge from your 1-3 years’ kitchen experience within food manufacturing to motivate your team to deliver daily production goals.
Organized and methodical approach to ensure recipes are followed, ingredients are available and properly positioned, and tracking is accurate on batch sheets.
Dedicated team leader who encourages and inspires team members to perform at their highest levels.
Team player with excellent communication skills ready to work hard to ensure the whole Palermo’s team succeeds.
