Job Summary: Welders within precast concrete construction field are imperative to the production of reinforced structures. As a welder in this position, you would be responsible for measuring, cutting, and welding steel rebar to exacting specifications within concrete molds, such as reinforced concrete pipes, barriers, drainage systems, catch basins, and more.

- Manufacture and fabricate metal reinforcement for precast products.
- Install and repair various pieces of equipment.
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
- Calculate material measurements to exacting standards.
- Assess, test, and evaluate quality and weight tolerance of welded materials.
- Use necessary tools and welding equipment (such as angle grinder, torches, saws, squares, calipers, etc.) safely to desired tension and strength requirements for reinforced concrete.
- Operates machines such as shears, cutoff saws, and drill press, to cut and shape components to specified dimensions.
