Job Summary: Under the supervision of a Radiologist, performs Mammography and diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients. Cleans and maintains equipment and prepares necessary reports and maintains records.
Qualifications/Reporting:
Required minimum education: Graduate of a program of Radiologic Technology required or graduate of a program of Ultrasound Technology.
Required minimum experience: One plus years’ experience as an Ultrasonographer preferred.
Required skills (if applicable): Knowledge of ultrasound equipment and effective oral and written communication skills.
Required license/certification: (ARDMS) American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Registry (ARRT) or Registry eligible. ARDMS or ARRT within one year of employment is required. RVT is a plus. Current CPR required.
