Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Meat Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and packaging various types of meat products, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cutting, boning, and grinding meat
- Following recipe and cook schedules
- Operating meat processing equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspecting meat products for quality and consistency
- Packaging meat products for sale or delivery
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of meat
- Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborating with team members to meet production goals
- Following instructions and guidance from supervisors and leadership
- Contributing to a positive and supportive team environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in meat processing or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a cold environment and stand for extended periods
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow directions and work under the guidance of supervisors
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
