Job Description
- Must be able to read/follow written Work Order/Traveler/Picklist instructions and follow verbal instructions. Must be able to read and understand internal SOP.
- Must be able to solve problems in areas of quality, materials and equipment.
- Works to a daily schedule and must meet or exceed output targets by understanding the product flow and handling procedures within the department.
- Required to work with cleaning solvents.
- Communicates well between departments to notify others and coordinator when issues arise.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Assist Process Engineers in solving issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all machines in the Laminating Area.
- Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately and on time.
- Perform all tasks as requested and assigned by management. Qualifications:
- Must possess High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 0-2 years of manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to read and follow instructions.
- Work independently as well as in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision and excellent time management skills are a necessity.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization as well as outside services and at meetings.
- Must be able to adjust quickly to changes in priorities, be goal-driven and self-motivated.
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Windows and MSS/V.
