What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Professional position at Parsons Corporation?
Parsons is looking for highly skilled PERSEC - Case Control to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Customer's Security and Installations Directorate (SI) Personnel Security Division’s (SISP) Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP) by conducting national security investigations in compliance with the Federal Investigative Standards (FIS) and the Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs).
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Active Top-Secret.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an SCI.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CI POLY.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 7 years of related PERSEC experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Collect, investigate; research, document, and forward to adjudications, all reportable information from employees and contractors within the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act (IRTPA) and Director of National Intelligence (DNI) mandated timelines.
- Complete processing of all security reportable as defined with the triage plan: two working days for high risk, ten working days for medium risk, and thirty calendar days for low risk.
- Manage issue specific interviews with all levels of personnel for resolution of security concerns and prepare accurate and quality reports of investigations with mitigating information.
- Knowledge and experience working in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Scattered Castles
- Document, file, and maintain all actions in the PeopleSoft security system of record.
- Collect, investigate, research, document, and forward to adjudications, as applicable, all adjudicative relevant information received through Automated Records Checks (ARC) and the Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP) for employees and contractors, in the SISP mandated timelines.
- Knowledge and understanding of the 13 adjudicative guidelines (SEAD 4)
- Follow-up as appropriate to ensure timely action on all ARC and CEP events.
- Identify any outstanding actions on a weekly basis to the government Team Lead.
- Adhere to non-disclosure agreements and Privacy Act guidance to protect and safeguard proprietary, sensitive, confidential, and classified information.
- Clear and concise writing skills and positive, engaging communication skills.
Salary : $95,000 - $107,000
