Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contractor Special Security Officer/Facility Security Officer (CSSO/FSO) to join our team! In this
role you will get to manage security for SCIF/SAPF operations in support of DoD and IC customers to ensure compliance with government
and company policies and standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
Support multiple federal agencies with varying security standards and procedures, utilizing the NISPOM, ICDs, 5105.21 (M-1),
DoDM 5205.07 and other applicable directives, policies and procedures set forth by the DoD and Intelligence Community
program
accomplish missions
the related USG security requirements to ensure the protection of classified information.
Support multiple federal agencies with varying security standards and procedures, utilizing the NISPOM, ICDs, 5105.21 (M-1),
DoDM 5205.07 and other applicable directives, policies and procedures set forth by the DoD and Intelligence Community
- Maintain SCIF/SAPF accreditations to appropriate Cognizant Security Agency (CSA)
- Conduct security education and training for assigned personnel
program
- Provide security indoctrination's, debriefings, pre/post travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary
- Coordinate co-utilization agreements for facilities
- Process SCI nominations, verifying need to know for personnel supporting various efforts
- Investigate security violations and submit required reports to the government
- Document and maintain personnel security files and rosters
- Establish and maintain successful working relationships with government and internal customers

- Perform other duties as assigned
- Responsible for facility access control support, intrusion detection, safes/locks, hardware, and doors
- Maintains SCIF visitor control functions to include entry/exit inspections, badging and incoming and outgoing visit requests
- Develop and maintain appropriate visitor request procedures and documentation to be distributed to external entities
- Process classified computer accounts and/or network requests.
- Conduct SCIF/SAPF self-inspections in preparation for security audits
- Prepare written SOPs/EAP and update annually for DoD and IC customers

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Associates degree in security or criminal justice or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- 5 years of relevant security experience
- Active Top Secret government security clearance with SCI eligibility
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in security or criminal justice or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- Attendance of security course offerings by DoD, or other intelligence community
- Agree to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph
- NBIS/DISS/SIMS experience
- Classified document and media accountability, conducts annual audits of all media
- Active TS/SCI government security clearance/access
