Position Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, and provide ongoing guidance and development for program personnel.
  • Plan, develop, and conduct health outreach and education programs for various demographics.
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations to educate emerging populations.
  • Coordinate with local agencies to implement health programs and services.
  • Represent the organization in local and state-wide meetings and trainings.
  • Link community members to appropriate health and social services.
  • Maintain detailed client records and write quarterly and annual reports.
  • Assist in writing and submitting required reports to funders and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate community engagement services and programs to improve health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Public Health or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledgeable about community mental health resources and services.
  • Experience in public speaking and the ability to engage and educate audiences.
  • Prior experience in community outreach, referral, and linkage to services.
  • Experience in public health messaging and health promotion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Canva.


Other Requirements

  • Maintain professional behavior and appearance at all times.
  • Attend community meetings and trainings as requested.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned, which may include weekends or evenings.
  • Work independently, as well as part of a team, and be self-motivated.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to work throughout Orange County.
  • Some travel for trainings is required.
