VIP ManualPasco County Fire Rescue Administrative Reserve consists of volunteer opportunities within the following areas of Pasco County Fire Rescue.
•Training Division
•Chaplains (non-denominational)
•Administrative functions (assigned out of Headquarters)
Cadet - The Fire Cadet program is open to young men and woman ages 14-21 who want to learn about the fire service through hands-on, practical and classroom evolutions. Under the guidance of the members of Pasco County Fire Rescue, Cadets will learn all aspects of emergency services, from training and day-to-day operations to fire tactics and emergency medical care. After completing a training program, Cadets will be able to ride-along on the fire apparatus.Additional release forms, background check authorizations, and parental consent forms may be required prior to the first day of volunteer activities.
As the requirements may differ from job to job and Division to Division, all activities will be at the discretion of the Chief, Lead or Supervisor for that specific job or Division.

- Training Division Reservists may be required to supply certifications to engage in activities
- Chaplain Reservists may be asked to supply Credentials to the Lead Chaplain
- Cadets- will have to follow all rules and regulations set forth by the Cadet Corps.
- Training Division – 10 hours a month
- Chaplains – As directed by Lead Chaplain ( on-call basis)
- Administrative functions- 10 hours a month
- Cadets- As set forth in Cadet Corp. Rules and Regulations
