The Accounts Receivable Cerk's primary objective is to assist with the daily accounts receivable processes and assist other departments with courteous, prompt, and professional service. Some of the daily tasks include:
- Appling customer payments
- Balance registers
- Answer accounts receivable calls
- Open and sort mail
- Process and scan sales tax exemption forms
- Process new account applications and assist with new account set-up
- Communicate clearly with customers and co-workers
- Assist customers with account questions
Requirements
- Attention to detail and ability to remain focused through repetitive tasks
- Approaches work with an efficiency mindset
- Computer skills with a willingness to learn new programs
- Good communication skills through phone, email and interpersonal interactions
- Positive attitude and teamwork perception
- Ability to be patient when confronted with a challenge
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
