What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contents Project Manager position at Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling of South Central Wisconsin?
Reports To: Contents Department Manager
Summary: The Contents Project Manager will help supervise nearly all aspects of our contents department including all technicians, temporary labor and any related subcontractors. He/she will manage many moving parts and be the face of our company as they carefully and respectfully interact with our clients who have just suffered damage to their property and belongings. This position reports to the Contents Department Manager and is one that requires a great team attitude, but you are able to work independently.

What are Contents PMs responsible for?
- Lead in project planning and inventory control of assigned losses
- Become involved with daily onsite management and scheduling of PDR and subcontractor crews
- Assist Compliance Manager in the review and management of sub-contractor agreements and supporting documentation as required
- Review/audit project documents for accuracy and completeness to produce invoicing
- Enter/upload job notes, daily production pictures, complete timed compliance tasks, and help obtain/upload required job documents to RMS desktop and mobile app versions
- Manage workflows and paperwork (timesheets, invoice reviews, reimbursable expenses, etc.) with PM's, subcontractors, and vendors
- Communicate the type and number of technicians necessary, create daily work orders for techs
- Fulfill role in rotation as on-call manager
- Sketch jobs in Xactimate and complete internal low-level reviews of all T&M invoices
- Sign, scope, and complete mitigation jobs in a CAT situation
- Other duties as determined by Department Manager
What are we looking for?
- Associate’s degree in business, construction or other related acumen. Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2-4 years of restoration-related experience
- Ability to learn and operate industry software (Xactimate/CRM/Symbility/Matterport)
- High-level communicator with external and internal customers
- Able to self-prioritize and manage multiple losses in different stages of completion
- Dedication to customer service and taking care of others
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules based on incoming emergencies
- Insurable driver’s license
Physical Demands:
- Lift between 20-80 lbs., regularly
- Extensive standing/walking
- Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat.
- Exposure to heavy soot, mold, sewage fumes
