Commercial Roofing Senior Project Manager
Location: Spokane, WA
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Senior Project Manager to oversee and lead complex roofing projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is ideal for a seasoned PM with strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a proven track record managing large-scale commercial roofing projects.
The Senior Project Manager will serve as a key leader within the operations team, working closely with estimators, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial roofing projects from award through final completion
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and profitability
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Assistant PMs, and field teams as needed
- Coordinate with estimating during project handoff and pre-construction
- Negotiate contracts, change orders, and resolve scope issues
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Conduct project meetings, site visits, and progress reviews
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and quality expectations
- Track and report project performance, costs, and forecasts to leadership
Project Types
- Large-scale commercial and industrial roofing projects
- New construction and re-roofing
- Systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, and metal roofing
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in commercial roofing project management
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems and installation methods
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience overseeing project budgets, scheduling, and financial reporting
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, OST, or similar)
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to job sites as needed
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in the Pacific Northwest
- Background managing projects $2M
- Leadership or mentorship experience
