Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Be able to name a minimum or 3 of the 7 Dwarves or 2 of Santa's Reindeer.
• Perform diagnostic repair on Hybrid, Flex Fuel and Gasoline vehicles.
• Challenge yourself, find opportunities to sharpen your skills and raise your confidence.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Have some fun, not take things too seriously and be open to life's lessons. Life's too short to not enjoy it!

Qualifications

• Toyota Expert Certified and above encouraged. Other OEM certifications will be considered as equivalent on select basis.
• High school diploma or equivalent recommended.  ASE Certification is a big plus
• Must know 2-3 Dad Jokes
• "A"  or "B" level qualification, including Hybrid, Diagnostic, Advanced Electrical and Engine Repair
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Exceptional mechanical and drivability troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve and lead others.
• Teammate mentality with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
