- Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant
Job Summary:
This position requires a person with Medical Receptionist/MA experience and is willing to work Monday through Friday . Computer skills needed. One Saturday a month for a half day may be required . Bilingual is a must! It is a fast paced friendly environment. Need to interview in person.
- Greet patients and schedule appointments
- Answer phones in a professional manner and take calls in a professional manner
- Check in patients
- Collect co-pays, copays, etc. as needed
- Work with front desk staff to ensure that patients are scheduled according to the flow of the office, and are satisfied with the experience
- Perform other duties as assigned by Front Desk Staff or Medical Director
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred; alternatively, high school diploma and a GED certificate provided rather than a formal education certificate required
- Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different types of people; ability to multi-task; ability to work effectively as part of a team; ability to work with medical terminology and other related fields are preferred but not required; willingness to learn new skills and willingness to provide an excellent experience for our patients is required.

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
