Job Description
Pedigo Products, a leading Manufacturer of high quality medical devices is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ERP Administrator to oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our Epicor ERP system. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Epicor (or other ERP software) in a manufacturing environment. Epicor has been implemented across all operations (purchasing, inventory, production, logistics, customer service, finance) with reporting to support enterprise analysis and planning. Position will collaborate with excellent cross-departmental team members to ensure the system continues and advances in efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Epicor ERP Administration:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of Epicor, ensuring performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the ERP system in a timely manner.
- Be engaged with Epicor regarding developments, upgrades, opportunities, and patches. Plan and perform system upgrades and maintenance.
- Ensure system security, access controls, and user role management within Epicor.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for system configurations, customizations, integrations, and any modifications made to Epicor.
- Collaborate with third-party consultants, defining and enforcing project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Ability to discern when customization may be needed vs. changing internal processes to conform to the ERP prescribed process.
System Integration and Support:
- Work with department leaders and third parties to establish and/or maintain integration of Epicor with other software and systems.
- Assist with training end-users on system functionalities, best practices, and troubleshooting methods.
Process Improvement and Reporting:
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop progressive objectives and advancements. Execute plan: configure, customize, and optimize Epicor to achieve objectives.
- Analyze and recommend improvements to business processes supported by Epicor.
- Create custom reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency. Collaborate to capitalize from the data.
Resources:
- Excellent departmental managers/leaders and staff. Pedigo’s collaborative and team-based approach.
In-House Skills:
- Partner with existing employees having great skill sets: Epicor knowledge, report writing, programming skills, AI utilization/incorporation, IT expertise.
Epicor Support (part of our maintenance plan).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with Epicor (or other ERP) in a manufacturing or similar industry environment.
Technical Skills:
- ERP administration and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of database structure, business processes and data integrity/controls.
- Experience with reporting tools.
- Desired experience with Python and/or SQL.
Soft Skills:
- Organized and responsive. Collaborative.
- Ability to communicate clearly via phone, email, or in-person.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
