We are seeking an Associate – Transactions, a highly capable and experienced commercial real estate professional to assist in the coordination of the full transaction lifecycle for the investment sales team. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial self-starter with an exceptional ability to manage a high volume of complex transactions, while implementing scalable processes and supporting a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
Transaction Oversight & Execution
- Assist in the coordination of all aspects of transaction execution for both acquisitions and dispositions, including due diligence, underwriting, marketing, and closing processes
- Review and abstract leases, operating agreements, title reports, CAM reconciliations, estoppels, SNDAs, loan documents, and other critical real estate documents
- Coordinate with escrow/title officers, attorneys, lenders, brokers, 1031 accommodators, and third-party vendors
- Monitor transaction timelines and critical dates to ensure on-time closings
- Oversee proration analysis and final settlement statements
Process Management & Support
- Maintain deal tracking in proprietary CRM (Salesforce) and internal systems
- Provide transaction-related reporting and updates to internal stakeholders and clients
- Help implement standardized transaction workflows and process improvements
Market Research & Analysis
- Analyze on- and off-market retail investment opportunities using platforms such as CoStar, LoopNet, CREXI, and proprietary data
- Conduct detailed underwriting and financial modeling in Excel and Argus
- Research tenants, landlords, and market comparables
Client & Internal Support
- Support the Investment Sales team with marketing packages, offering memoranda, and internal deal folders
- Represent the firm in client meetings and calls, providing advisory and operational support as needed
- Assist in new business development and relationship management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or Economics preferred
- 3–5 years of relevant commercial real estate transaction experience
- California Real Estate Salesperson or Broker License preferred
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex transactions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Argus, and CRM platforms
- Deep knowledge of commercial lease structures and transaction documentation
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment
Compensation & Timeline
- Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience
- Full-time role; candidate should be able to onboard within 30 days of offer
- Relocation assistance available, if applicable
- Expected compensation range: $75,000-$90,000 Bonus
