Under the direction of the Corporate Controller, the Senior Corporate Accountant will support all areas of finance including accounting, audit and treasury. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for applying fundamental accounting concepts to assist with the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial information using various computer systems. This position will also be required to adhere to the monthly close and reporting responsibilities and will assist management and other personnel with financial analysis and budget preparations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Assist in the company-wide consolidation of financial statements & information in accordance with US GAAP requirements
- Assist with the monthly close activities, including preparation of account reconciliations, journal entries and roll-forwards
- Provide financial analysis to senior management according to established procedures
- Prepare intercompany eliminations including intercompany profit elimination calculations
- Maintain corporate/holding companies accounting records including general ledger
- Analyze and evaluate corporate departmental expenses and budgets to prepare reports, and recommendations.
- Provide assistance to treasury function including debt compliance and cash management
- Monitor and report on deviations of internal control practices and procedures
- Responsible for integrity report maintenance and investigation
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Prepare reports analyzing specific aspects of department structures, functions and operational procedures and recommend ways to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness
- Utilize various computer financial information systems in the preparation of analyses and reports relating to assigned areas
