The Early Childhood Education Division is looking for a Teacher for our Children’s Center, to assist in providing quality educational learning experiences for infant/toddler age and Preschool age children by creating a safe and nurturing environment. A Teacher participates as part of the Early Childhood Education team to assess, plan and implement program goals for infants and toddlers. Duties include curriculum development, assessment, and screening.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Implement plans through regularly scheduled activities designed to meet the individual needs of infants, toddlers and/or preschoolers.
- Maintain a healthy, safe environment.
- Perform and/or oversee parent involvement in daily living activities such as feeding, diapering, and washing.
- Maintain pertinent records as assigned.
- Maintain knowledge in field through appropriate educational activities.
- Perform support duties as requested by the Lead Teacher.
- Access and read Agency email account and Intranet at least weekly.
QUALIFICATION
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or meeting EEC standards.
- MA EEC certification rerquired.
- Ability to meet licensing requirements for an infant/toddler and/or preschool Teacher.
- Ability to maintain licensing requirements regarding training certifications and updated health record information.
- Ability to interact appropriately with children, clients and staff.
- Valid driver’s license required as well as a qualifying criminal background check.
