C2BMC Advanced Technology Engineer

Responsibilities

PeopleTec is currently seeking a C2BMC Advanced Technology Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

PeopleTec, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Engineer-4 to support Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Future Spirals of Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communication (C2BMC) in Huntsville, Al. This position will include systems engineering and other related program office support for the MDA/BCDV Chief Engineer in a fast-paced environment.  Applicants must be capable of accomplishing assignments in teamwork or independent settings.  Work may require travel 5% of the time to various locations to include prime contractor sites, other program offices, integration sites, and applicable laboratories within the CONUS.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience with generating and/or reviewing artifacts for major engineering technical reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, and IETR events
• Experience with assessing technical requirements and/or Interface Control Documents
• Experience with generating executive summaries and informational briefings for government decision makers
• Possess both practical and theoretical technical/engineering knowledge in Infrared and/or RF sensor systems
• Capable of working independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks to solve engineering/scientific problems
• Capable of leading implementation of system engineering processes to facilitate integration and transition of emerging capabilities
• Experience with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Travel: 5%
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• BS in engineering, mathematics, physics, technology, or science
• MA/MS in related field with 12 years’ experience

Desired Skills:

• TS clearance with SCI Eligibility
• Proven writing and speaking communication skills
• BS/MS in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on exploitation of infrared sensor data
• Familiarity with current missile threats to the CONUS and Combatant Commands
• Experience of conducting technical reviews or writing Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) proposals
• Familiarity with orbital mechanics
• Experience or familiarity with MDA weapon systems, radars, or C2BMC or BMDS OPIR Architecture (BOA)
• Technical experience with detecting or tracking objects with 2-D Infrared sensor data
• Experience with developing kill assessment algorithms/tools or associated technologies such as lethality determination
• Experience with writing statements of work and/or engineering cost estimates
• Experience with formulating operational concepts for missile defense applications
• Integration of elements into missile defense weapon systems (sensor fusion, timeline analysis, engagement planning, state diagrams, ICDs)
• Familiar with C2BMC and/or Overhead Persistent GEOINT Architecture (OPGA) message sets
• Familiarity with assessing Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs)
• Experience with generating Test Objective Memorandums for MDA flight tests
• Experience with managing Task Management Tool (TMT) Taskers within MDA
• Experience with reviewing technical content associated with TMT Taskers
• Familiarity with the Agile Software development process
