What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Manager position at Per Lei Boutique?
The ideal candidate will have an ability to manage the daily operations of Stile by Per Lei and complete tasks related to recruiting/training staff, marketing, merchandising, and customer service. As a confident salesperson they will be able to share their best practices in order to ensure stylists are well-trained, motviated, and engaged in an effort to maintain and grow a customer base and hit weekly/monthly sales goals. This candidate should possess the ability to create an exceptional in-store experience, build relationships with clients, and generate sales through the implementation and execution of store events, promotions, loyalty programs, and personalized customer phone calls/messages. As the store manager, strong leadership skills and the ability to assign duties to relevant employees is key in order to maintain the function of the store.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Delivers an optimistic, high-energy, and team-oriented store atmosphere
- Manages daily operations of the business and ensures sales goals are met
- Directs employees in daily operations and provides team support by helping to complete tasks, sharing knowledge, or assisting in customer interactions
- Proactively resolves customer concerns in a manner consistent with Stile’s policies, keeping customer satisfaction in mind
- Conducts hiring of new employees
- Manages and trains staff to show competence and confidence in their day-to-day duties
- Manages levels of inventory and communicates store needs to buyer
- Manages and maintains weekly merchandising and window display updates
- Responsible for the implementation and planning of marketing and promotional events.
- Creates employee schedules that maintain store’s budget
- Maintains expected sales floor coverage in event of employee no-shows or scheduling conflicts
Qualifications
- 2 years of retail experience
- 1 years of manager or assistant manager experience
- Demonstrated ability to train employees and be an effective salesperson
- Strong customer service, management, and communication skills
