Position Details
- Provide specialized nursing care to the peri-operative patients having inpatient or outpatient surgical procedures under various methods of anesthesia.
- Responsible for the admission of surgical patients and discharge of same day surgery patients.
- Circulates for inpatient and outpatient procedures.
- Works in the Post-operative Care unit ("PACU").
- Is committed to Patient and Family Centered Care.
What You Offer
- Registered Nurse (RN) currently licensed to practice in the state of Minnesota.
- Surgery experience preferred.
- RN in this position will be assisting with roles and responsibilities of the pain management service line.
- Proficient in various specialties including, ortho, general, OB-gyn and endoscopy.
- Experience in admitting, circulating, PACU and recovery or various surgical patience.
- Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
- Possess excellent communication skills, the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with patients and their families, physician, peers, and other health care professionals.
- Be proficient in the use of electronic medical records systems; EPIC preferable.
- Be able to pass Background Study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
Work Schedule
- Casual Position
- 8 hour days; M-F
- No call requirement; ability to cover call as needed preferred
- Guaranteed 16 hours per pay period, if available to work Mondays; additional hours available if desired

Salary : $70,000 - $88,600
