The position of House Supervisor RN Float requires someone who can lead by example, while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure. This person must be able to assess situations quickly, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate clearly with the team.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical leadership and identifying department needs
- Mentoring others to recognize changes in patient status and assist in managing complex patients
- Delegating care based on patient needs and staff competency/qualifications
- Communicating with Manager and other healthcare providers in a timely and professional manner
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of recent RN experience in a healthcare setting, with critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. They must also possess active and valid Registered Nurse License, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
