Job Overview
As a Northeast Alabama-based Industrial/Mechanical and Maintenance Contractor in business for 30 years, currently providing services to 14 states, we are currently accepting applications for the following position: Office Clerk
Job Type: Full Time
Work Location: In person, Ashville, Alabama
Must be a self-starter as well as a supportive team member with the willingness to assist and manage various aspects of day-to-day operations within the company. This position also requires the ability to multitask and work within other departments when needed. Pleasant and proper phone etiquette is a must.
The current employer will not be contacted unless a job offer is extended. If experience is not verified accurately, it could result in dismissal.
Must have efficient computer skills with various software, including but not limited to QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, Google, as well as knowledge of payroll systems and procedures.
Ability to maintain records for multiple projects while utilizing filing systems and submission of weekly reports to various personnel.
The selected candidate must pass a pre-employment drug test, have a verifiable and insurable driving history, be punctual to work every day, with the ability to work overtime when needed.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds, along with the willingness to be certified on all company safety procedures.
