Qualifications:
- To be successful in this role, you will need…
- Experience managing heavy civil construction projects.
- A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or additional experience/expertise in the civil construction industry)
- An understanding of civil construction principles, operations, and logistics.
- Leadership and management skills to keep the pressure on and drive for results.
- To maintain relationships with internal and external customers through a culture of accountability and respect.
- A proven track record of maintaining accurate production budgets as well as cost analysis and forecasting.
- Proficiency with computers and software such as: MS Excel, MS Project, and Primavera P6
- Experience using HCSS, HeavyJob, HeavyBid, or other construction software for heavy civil projects.
- Ideally you have…
- Experience with residential and commercial site development and/or public works projects including the installation of water/sewer/storm utilities and earthmoving.

Compensation for this opportunity:
- Up to $135,000 base salary
- Company Vehicle and Fuel Card
- Cell Phone Allowance
- Project Performance Incentive (“Win the Job”)
- Beat the budget and get 10% of every dollar you save.

- After meeting minimum performance standards, 30% of the company’s profits are shared among the employees.

- Total value of compensation could exceed $175,000
Location Information:
- Office = Jacksonville, FL 32216 (Phillips Hwy between University and JTB)
- Expect to spend ~80% of your workweek here.
- Jobsites = throughout NE Florida (mainly within ~40 miles of Jacksonville)
- Visiting jobsite 1-2 times per week is common and recommended.
