Research Associate
Summary:
Join our team as a Research Associate where you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the immunogenicity team to enhance an in vitro immunopeptidomics assay. Your work will contribute to advancing the sensitivity, robustness, and throughput of the existing methodology, supporting ongoing biologic drug project immunogenicity analyses, and maintaining analytical mass spectrometry instrument performance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with immunogenicity team members to develop and establish a new version of an in vitro immunopeptidomics assay by advancing the sensitivity, robustness and throughput of an existing methodology
- Contribute to the new assay qualification design, execution, and establishment of quality control parameters
- Apply the qualified method to support ongoing biologic drug project immunogenicity analyses
- Maintain analytical mass spectrometry instrument performance, calibration, and troubleshooting as required
- Preparation of samples for mass spectrometry analysis
- Design of experiments in collaboration with colleagues
- Interpretation and documentation of experimental results
- Communication of experimental results to team members
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in biological sciences, biochemistry, chemistry, or related fields
- Recent graduates accepted
- A minimum of 0-3 years of relevant research experience
- Biological sample preparation experience
- Operation of laboratory equipment
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Collaborative skills and effective partnering skills in a matrix-environment
- Strong data organization, analysis, and communication skills
Rate/Location:
- $25 - $30 per hour
- This is a fully onsite position in Andover, MA
- Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week
