Job Summary
The Paramedic will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our Registered Nurses and Physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care, maintaining a safe environment for patients and families
- Educate patients and their families on health care services and tasks
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, utilizing technology as needed
- Participate in patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare services and tasks
- Advocate for patients, provide teaching, and oversee unlicensed personnel
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- No prior experience required
- Current certification as a Paramedic in Georgia, National Registry preferred
- BLS certification; ACLS certification or willingness to become certified immediately
