Executive Assistant
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: JBS is seeking an Executive Assistant for our Pilgrim’s Human Resource Executive team, supporting the various executives within the business. This role will provide support to the Head of Human Resources (to include Health & Safety, Operational Excellence, Learning & Development and all HR Management as needed) including calendaring, travel arrangements, and customer relationship management. Responsibilities:
- Performs administrative support functions. Drafts and processes correspondence. Creates spreadsheets, charts, tables, etc., if needed.
- Responsible to process invoices in SAP related to the Pilgrims daily operations as needed.
- Responsible for overseeing weekly severe injury meetings, if needed.
- Answers and screens telephone calls.
- Assists with special projects.
- General communication and coordination of orders/events.
- Handle all administrative functions (calendars, appointments, travel assistance, event scheduling, conference call appointments, etc.). This will include meetings held in the U.S. and Globally.
- Customer relationship management; first point of contact for some customers and vendors.
- Must be process oriented and have superb time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks while staying organized, including ability to prioritize for designated executive what is critical and what can wait for their return.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher, preferred.
- 2 years previous experience as an executive assistant in a dynamic environment strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and document management systems. SAP knowledge would be a benefit.
- Ability to handle and coordinate multiple projects at the same time.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent phone and strong presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail Oriented.
- 40 hours per week.
- Must be team oriented with a desire to work in corporate office environment.
- Motivated/self-starter.
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- As a salaried non-exempt position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment.
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays.
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule.
- Base salary range of $23.00-27.00/hour
