Photographer (One Church Team)

SUMMARY

Pinelake Church is looking for a creative and mission-driven Photographer to help capture and tell the story of life change across our campuses. This role focuses on documenting real moments, creating meaningful visuals, and helping people experience the goodness of God through photography. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in alignment with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.
• Assist other staff members when needed to support teamwork and successful completion of creative strategies.
• Basic personal responsibilities:
  • Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, meditation, and practicing L3.
  • Maintain proper priorities in your home, including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
  • Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by practicing wise stewardship over the resources entrusted to you.
  • Maintain active participation in a biblical community.
  • Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner that glorifies Christ and furthers the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).

SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Capture high-quality photo content at Sunday services, baptisms, events, camps, and ministry moments across all campuses.
• Edit and deliver professional-grade images in a timely manner, including same-day turnaround on Sundays and during events.
• Maintain camera gear, manage media organization, and help build a strong visual archive for church storytelling.
• Collaborate with designers, videographers, and ministry leaders to meet photography and storytelling needs.
• Cultivate and lead volunteer photographers across campuses, including scheduling, coaching, and encouragement.
• Travel regularly to all five Pinelake campuses to document ministry life and key moments.
• Help tell the story of Pinelake's mission of seeing Mississippi changed one life change story at a time through compelling visual content.

SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS

• Full-time role, working Sunday through Thursday, with flexibility for evening events or special projects as needed.
• Must be willing to relocate to the Jackson Metro area.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Will coordinate and lead work with volunteer photography teams across campuses.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Communications, or equivalent real-world experience.
• Proficiency with Lightroom, Photoshop, and cloud-based storage workflows.
• Experience shooting a wide range of environments (natural light, low light, indoor, outdoor, event settings).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating real, emotional, moment-driven photography

BONUS POINTS

• Experience filming and creating content for people, brands, or ministries.
• Experience serving or working in a local church context.
• Comfortable producing both posed and candid photo content.
• Familiarity with social media content needs and visual storytelling trends.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
