What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Captain position at Pinnacle Hospitality LLC?
Supervise banquet servers, bartenders, and support staff during events, ensuring proper setup, service, and breakdown.
Communicate event details with the Banquet Manager, Culinary team, and other relevant departments.
Ensure all banquet spaces are properly set up according to banquet event orders (BEOs), including table settings, décor, and AV needs.
Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to health and safety standards.
Interact with guests professionally, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Train and mentor banquet staff on service standards, policies, and safety procedures.
Maintain an organized and clean work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly handled and stored.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, liquor laws, and health regulations.
Conduct post-event evaluations, documenting feedback and reporting issues to management.
Assist with inventory control, ensuring proper storage and tracking of banquet supplies.
