Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking an Electronics Technician to support a classified Department of Defense program on-site in Norfolk, VA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electronics installation and maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs, and be passionate about delivering reliable, high-quality technical solutions in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities for the Electronics Technician include:
- Execute on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic systems and equipment.
- Conduct site surveys, configure hardware/software, and test systems for proper operation.
- Install raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and mounting hardware components.
- Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network, and IT equipment.
- Maintain tool inventory and perform regular inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
- Participate in daily safety and project meetings.
- Document daily work tasks using Infralink and other tools to track progress.
- Mentor junior team members in installation techniques and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
Qualifications for the Electronics Technician include:
- High School Diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (min of 720 classroom hours required)
- 2 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activies across multiple systems/customer programs.
- Experience with LENEL, Software House, Milestone, and other IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (may require use of company vehicle)
- Vendor certifications in Identiv/Hirsch Velocitiy, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV/BVMS, AIphone, FFT, DIVAR.
- Experience with Windows OS and related certifications.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S Government Secret clearance.
Compensation for the Electronics Technician include:
- Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 *depending on experience*
