What are the responsibilities and job description for the NPI Engineer position at Piper Companies?

Piper Companies is seeking a senior  NPI Engineer with strong experience with leading multiple teams simultaneously to ensure successful introduction of new products. The ideal NPI Engineer must be willing to work  onsite 5 days a week in Saratoga, CA.

Requirements for the NPI Engineer include :

  • Lead the NPI process for semiconductor systems, ensuring all project milestones are met and products are launched on time
  • Work closely with mechanical, thermal, signal integrity and hardware engineering teams
  • Ensure new products meet all quality standards and regulatory requirements before release
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and increase production

Qualifications for the NPI Engineer include :

  • 10 years of experience in NPI, product development or manufacturing engineering, specifically within the semiconductor industry
  • Has experience working with mechanical, thermal, signal integrity, and hardware engineers
  • Proficient understanding with CAD software’s (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Proficient knowledge in engineering analysis tools (FEA, CFD)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S Government Secret Clearance

    • Compensation for the NPI Engineer include :

  • Salary range : $150,000 - $180,000 annually
