As a Fine Gardener at Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards, your days will be filled with an array of fulfilling responsibilities:

• Cultivating Floral Masterpieces: Nurturing annual and perennial flower beds will be your canvas. Planting, watering, and meticulously maintaining these floral wonders will be second nature to you.
• Harvesting Culinary Delights: Collaborating with our kitchen team, you'll tend to and harvest produce from our multiple vegetable gardens, ensuring only the freshest ingredients grace our culinary creations.
• Elevating Aesthetics: Infuse your creativity into our property's charm by refreshing planters with vibrant annuals, enhancing the visual allure that captivates our guests.
• Seasonal Artistry: Showcase your pruning and fertilizing expertise on trees and shrubs, ensuring they flourish throughout the seasons. Your occasional planting and replacement efforts will contribute to our ever-evolving landscape.
• Floral Artistry: Join in the creation of weekly floral arrangements for our tasting room and special events, infusing your artistic touch into the ambiance of our venue.
• Educational Engagements: Be a part of hosting enriching workshops and captivating property tours, sharing your insights into the world of horticulture and gardening with our intrigued guests.
• Nature's Steward: Combat invasive species with your skillful use of herbicides, preserving the native beauty of our environment.

General Requirements:

We're seeking individuals who are driven by their passion for horticulture and have a knack for cultivating nature's beauty. To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in horticulture or landscaping.
• A solid knowledge of both native and non-native perennial plants.
• A positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work autonomously or seamlessly integrate into a team.
• Willingness to embrace the outdoors in all its seasonal splendor.
• A strong understanding of workplace safety procedures.
