The Compliance Screening Specialist I provides responsive, accurate customer focused service in a professional and timely manner. This role is part of our Screenings Operations team and is responsible for a variety of functions that ensure the compliant processing, ordering and support of screening services.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of a Compliance Screening Specialist I include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
· Maintain 24 hr. response time to client emails/ requests/ questions
· Ability to meet established quotas and workload requirements
· Completes work in timely manner and strives to increase productivity
· Thoroughly understands and follows all client requirements using available resources to ascertain services required as it relates to assigned duties. Questions and issues should be escalated as appropriate
· Understanding of FCRA requirements, as it applies to the assigned duties
· Researching/resolving inquiries from technicians, servicing companies and clients, as it relates to the screening process
· Use of screening system to understand status of contractor screenings, including support of drug testing process when needed
· Performing routine follow-ups, assigned audits to ensure completion of work and minimize aging of orders.
· Identification of individuals in our database that need services
· Management of duties with competing demands
· Establish and maintain good relationships with clients contacts
· Bring forth suggestions for improvement and support Team Manager to implement changes and encourage company growth
· Foster and encourage a team environment by helping and lending support to colleagues from within and outside the screenings team
· Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned to support the daily business activities of the department and the company
Qualifications
· Prefer bilingual (Spanish)
· Minimum 6 months customer service experience
· Detail oriented
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
· Speak clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations. Must be able to effectively and accurately communicate the written word, via email, spoken word, and via telephone
· Effective computer and keyboarding skills
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Word and Access and other internet browsers
· Ability to follow instructions, respond to leadership direction and takes responsibility for own actions
· Proven capacity to work efficiently under minimal supervision
· Excellent time management / organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
· Ability to type 45 wpm
· Must be able to accommodate flexible work schedule based on business needs
