Uniform Production- Stockroom
The uniform production- stockroom operator is a full-time position, Working 4–10-hour days, Monday through Thursday (most weeks), from 6a to 430pm.
The stockroom operator assists in all aspects of adding garments to service for new and existing wearers and customers, as well as assisting in repairs or making a decision on upgrading a worn garment. Plymate’s stockroom is a fast- paced environment that requires attention to detail. Stockroom coworkers rotate job tasks within the department throughout the normal work day.
This position requires ability to:
• Ability to read and understand work orders
• Ability to operate a heat seal and sewing machine
• Data entry/ability to multitask
• Good communication skills
• High degree of attention to detail
The physical requirements for this role include:
• Ability to stand for 10 hours shifts
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50lbs on their own
• Ability to reach above and below shoulder level
• Ability to work in environment that has extreme temperature changes (hot in summer/cold in winter)
