Job Title: Uniform Service Representative
Department: Service
Reports To: District Manager
SUMMARY
Provides professional, courteous service to customers on a regular basis. Works with both internal and external customers to make sure the correct products are delivered and billed accurately. Addresses all customer concerns in an appropriate timeframe and communicates openly with supervisor and others in the organization with a continuous improvement attitude.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Follows company policies, coordinating all service activities to achieve long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives. This includes but is not limited to customer retention, increase sales of existing customers, and customer relations.
Makes recommendations of activities to make progress toward stated goals and objectives.
Confers with others to review achievements and discuss required changes towards reaching goals or objectives resulting from status and conditions.
Resolve’s service problems to ensure customer retention standards and future growth goals are met (or brings concerns to supervisors or others in the organization that can assist with a service problem that the Service Representative cannot resolve).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Mat Route Service experience, preferred
Customer service/sales experience preferred, preferably in a service environment. Some successful college course completion desired.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets simple financial reports. Ability to effectively present information to customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply simple mathematical concepts.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
The ability to learn and become proficient in FileMaker and our AS400 computer system and using our handheld computer systems.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
LICENSE: The license requirement of the position is chauffeur’s license (or ability to attain one within seven days of beginning work as a Service Representative) and an acceptable driving record (as determined by our vehicle insurance carrier). Adherence to company motor vehicle policy for drivers.

Ability to sit, stand and walk continuously throughout the day. Ability to climb, twist, bends, stoop, reach above shoulder level and operate a motor vehicle continuously throughout the day. Ability to lift to 50 pounds continuously (up to 100% of the time) throughout the day and up to 100 pounds frequently (up to 5 hours) throughout the day unassisted. Ability to push and pull (carts) up to 300 pounds with both hands frequently (up to 5 hours) throughout the day.

The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas were under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as steel toed safety shoes.
For the most part temperatures like outdoor temperatures. Lighting and noise level like traditional manufacturing environment.
