We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our innovative, fast-paced custom fabrication company. Job duties include processing accounts payable and receivable, creating financial reports, and managing invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate is experienced with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Duties:
- Accounts Payable including: paying invoices, reviewing invoices for accuracy, general ledger account assignment, and resolving any payment or billing issues
- Record and pay all invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Print checks and mail signed checks upon approval
- Collect vendor W-9s, certificate of workers’ compensation insurance, and other documentation as necessary.
- Accounts Receivable including creating and sending invoices as well as account statements to customers on a regular basis
- Receive payments including matching to receivables, and preparation of bank deposits
- Prepare monthly bank accounts reconciliation and month-end-close
- Manage finished goods and work-in-process inventory accounting
- Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements
- Maintain chart of accounts and ensure accounting software meets the company’s internal and external reporting requirements
- Maintain depreciation schedules including generating reports for financial and tax purposes
- Complete all necessary sales and use tax and other tax forms
- Bi-weekly payroll processing
Requirements:
- Understanding bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable principles
- Calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Fast and efficient Data entry skills
- Experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidentiality
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred, not required
Experience:
- 2-years of bookkeeping or relevant work experience
